When land and see come accross...

Situated at the extreme west part of France, Finistere is like a finger tended towards the sea to touch the skyline. In this land of fishermen, sea and winds are joined to sculpt rocks and form some shattering frames. Amongst those ragged landscapes at the wild beauty, from time to time, nature seems to rest and rocks becomes then sandy beaches ideal for a swim. L'Orangerie de Lanniron invites you to discover some of those breton littoral treasures. 

Benodet's beaches :

Only 15 minutes' drive from the campsite, you will find the beaches of Benodet, well known breton seaside resort. With its Casino, its thalassotherapy center and its promenade on the seafront, Benodet has a quaint charm. Its beaches are ideal for a family afternoon to taste the cheerfullness of the sea and of the sandcastles.

One original way to join Benodet is to take on board of the "Vedettes de l'Odet" that ride up along the river till Benodet. A new look on the banks of the river Odet.

Fouesnant:

Fouesnant provides an extraordinary natural patrimony. Discover there, 10 minutes drive from the campsite, some picturesque sandy beaches, dunes and polders, stridden by hiking pathways. Hiking trips are organized to observe the fauna and flora of the area and especially birds that are numerous in this part of the breton seashore.

Fouesnant is also a destination thatprovides a large choice of entertainement activities. this city has a swimming pool complex, a sailing, surf and diving school.

Islands:

From Bénodet, Fouesnant, Concarneau or Loctudy, you can join the islands chain of Les Glénans. This beautiful natural space enjoy every sailor and lover of ornithology. Sea birds are indeed numerous:  you can catch sight of the "grand cormoran", the "cormoran huppé", the different species of  gulls, the "huitrier-pie" or the "sterne de Dougall".

 
Beyond the island chain of Les Glénans, il est possible de visiter les îles de Sein, d'Ouessant ou de Molène (départ de Brest pour ces deux dernières).

Exceptional landscapes:

Finistère's seashore provides some exceptional landscapes and particularly the site of the "Pointe du Raz". This place is classified as a "Grand site de France" as it is a masterpiece of nature. Its long rocky pike comes accross the streams. Majestic by calm weather, it becomes impressing by stormy weather. This place is stridden by 14 km of hiking footpaths.
